    The Buehler Challenger & Science Center uses space exploration as a theme to create a positive learning experience for middle school students and to foster in them a long-term interest in science, math and technology. We use simulations to ignite learning.

    Job Description:

    Create the foundation for an exciting career in science education with a full time position as part of our innovative team! Responsibilities include flying simulated space missions with grades 5-8 school groups, teacher professional development, student enrichment classes, family science programs, summer camp and development of new initiatives.

    Qualifications:

    Candidates should possess proven teaching skills - a BA degree, teacher certification and strong presentation skills. Experience in science content areas, educational technology, and distance learning is desirable. Dynamic educators who project a love of science should apply!

  • Fascinated by space? Play the role of an astronaut as you teach grades 5-8 kids and fly simulated space missions part time at the Buehler Challenger & Science Center in Paramus, NJ. Flexible hours, weekends and evenings. Teacher certification, alternate route, or substitute certification required.
