The Buehler Challenger & Science Center uses space exploration as a theme to create a positive learning experience for middle school students and to foster in them a long-term interest in science, math and technology. We use simulations to ignite learning.
Job Description:
Create the foundation for an exciting career in science education with a full time position as part of our innovative team! Responsibilities include flying simulated space missions with grades 5-8 school groups, teacher professional development, student enrichment classes, family science programs, summer camp and development of new initiatives.
Qualifications:
Candidates should possess proven teaching skills - a BA degree, teacher certification and strong presentation skills. Experience in science content areas, educational technology, and distance learning is desirable.
