Overnight Camp-In

Who Should Attend
Groups (18-34 members) of any composition aged 5th grade and up. Typical groups are scout troops, religious youth groups, Young Astronauts, parent/child groups, school clubs or neighborhood friends... in truth, anyone with the interest.

Program Schedule
Camp-Ins can be booked for Friday or Saturday nights, but the Center will consider requests for any non-school night...


6:00PM Arrival, "stow your stuff," welcome
6:30PM Pizza dinner plus
7:00PM Orientation, tours, space science activities,
photos, and mission training
10:00PM Wash up
10:15PM Space science movie
11:00PM    "Lights out"
6:45AM Wake up, Wash up
7:00AM Pre-launch breakfast, "pack your stuff"
7:30AM Mission launch
9:15AM Mission accomplished, Gift Shop
9:30AM Departure

Cost
$1,300 for 18-22 participants.
$1,500 for 23-34 participants.
(Includes a $400 non-refundable deposit due with reservation.)

Visa and MasterCard accepted. All attending chaperones are included in the fee.

Chaperone Policy
A minimum of 2 non-flying adults are required per program. Larger groups, or groups with special needs, may require additional chaperones, however no more than 6 may attend. The chaperone's role is to encourage a respect for others and the equipment as well as facilitating the mission. Improper behavior will not be tolerated.

Special Rate: One organization booking 4 or more Camp-Ins will receive a special discounted price of $1,300 per mission.

What to Bring
Campers should bring an indoor sleeping bag (pillow and air mattress are optional), a minimum of toiletries (no hair spray), small towel, and comfortable clothes and shoes. Campers will sleep on a carpeted floor in their clothes.

What Not To Bring
Electronic devices, snack foods, gum.
