Little Astronauts – July 23, 10am – 12pm

Pre-K4 & Kindergarten   

  • Learn to live and work in space
    • Experiment with rockets
    • Explore the relationship of earth, sun & moon
    • Explore the day and night cycle on Earth
    • Lift-off in our shuttle simulator

NEW – Astronaut Explorers – July 24, 9:30am – 12:30pm

1st & 2nd Grades   

  • Explore the planets in our solar system with hands-on activities
    • Discover the differences between Earth’s volcanoes and those found on planets like Mars and Venus through interactive experiments.
    • Learn about and compare the Rocky Planets and the Gas Giants
    • STARLAB Planetarium experience
    • Lift-Off in our shuttle simulator

Astronaut Rookies – July 1 – 3, 9am – 3pm

3rd & 4th Grades 

  • Camp themes: Moon, Mars, & Beyond!
    • Build & launch model rocket
    • Create postcard that will be sent to space
    • Discover how astronauts grow plants in space
    • Learn phases of the moon
    • Discover how craters are made
    • STARLAB Planetarium-Constellation Experience
    • Lift-off in shuttle simulator

Is There Life in the Universe? – June 24 – 28, 9am – 3pm

5th & 6th Grade

  • Fly simulated space missions to Comet Halley, Moon & Mars
    • Explore the concept of life elsewhere in the universe
    • Learn about the criteria for life beyond our system
    • Other activities include Mars base design challenge, cars of the future, cupcake geology, Pixel Telemetry & more!

Living & Working In Space – July 8 – 12, 9am – 3pm

5th & 6th Grade 

  • Fly simulated space missions to Comet Halley, Moon & Mars
    • Learn about life in space from the early days of Mercury to present & future missions
    • Simulate what it is like to eat & work in space
    • Build & launch model rocket
    • Starship X Design Challenge
    • Participate in team-building challenges & more!

Rocket Girls – July 22 – 26, 9am – 3pm

5th-8th Grade 

  • Fly simulated space missions to Comet Halley, Moon & Mars
    • Encourages girls to be risk takers & learn how to use Science, Math & Technology to shape their futures
    • Build and launch model rockets
    • Simulated Martian rover driving
    • Learn about barrier-breaking women in STEM
    • Introductory coding & more!

Next Generation Space Explorers – July 15 – 19, 9am – 3pm

7th & 8th Grades 

  • Fly simulated space missions to Comet Halley, Moon & Mars
    • Design a Lunar Colony
    • Build and launch model rockets
    • Participate in design challenges
    • Learn about NASA’s new initiative to send astronauts back to the Moon on the Space Launch System
    • Focus will be on human exploration and the human body during long-duration space flight

Product Engineering – July 29 – August 1, 9am – 3:30pm

9th-12th Grade 

  • Fly simulated space missions in our simulators
    • Campers will be introduced to the engineering design process used by engineers to solve problems
    • Implement concepts & work through various design challenges
    • Via an engineering notebook, emphasis will be placed on reflection & documentation.
